In June 2009, The Kenari Company emerged as an 11-acre farm located in the City of Roswell, Ga. Led by the well traveled Jonathan Hosseini, The Kenari Company is on a mission to seed vibrant communities.
The company has rapidly developed intellectual property around cost-effective, local food production and distribution systems including food processing and retail.
In the fall of 2009, ‘kenari’, a beverage, was brought to market and quickly became the preferred refreshment for people living across metro Atlanta. This first delightful portfolio product out of The Kenari Company’s development pipeline is made with ingredients grown at The Roswell Kenari Farm. It is tantalizing in taste and has the health benefits of more than 12 herbs. ‘kenari’ has already been picked up across metro Atlanta by independent neighborhood retailers, coffee shops and tea houses and can also be found in all metro Atlanta Whole Foods’ stores.
The Kenari Company, Inc. has an active product development pipeline, and is reviewing requests for the establishment of The Kenari Neighborhood Food System from elsewhere in Georgia as well as from other states.
